According to a recent study Back and Neck pain is at a five-year high in Britain with two in five affected as researchers blame the rise in sedentary lifestyles.
The British Chiropractic Association says 70 per cent of people in the Midlands experience back and neck pain before they are 30.
According to its president, Catherine Quinn,"'These days we are using technology more and more [...] glued to our smartphone or tablet, messaging friends or scrolling through social media."
The rise across the country is put down to office work, more time spent hunching over smartphones and tablets and staying still for too long without moving.
This is an alarming trend with serious long-term consequences on our well-being.
